This tooth comes from the Hell Creek Formation, Harding County, South Dakota. It is a nice example of a lateral maxillary or dentary (upper or lower jaw) tooth that exhibits some natural wear due to erosion. Tyrannosaurus rex was a large theropod dinosaur that lived throughout what is now western North America, on what was then an island continent known as Laramidia. Teeth attributed to Nanotyrannus are still heavily debated, and may in fact be juvenile T. rex teeth.
T. rex was one of the largest land carnivores of all time. One of the largest and the most complete specimens, nicknamed Sue, is located at the Field Museum of Natural History. Sue measured 12.3–12.4 m (40.4–40.7 ft) long, was 3.66–3.96 meters (12–13 ft) tall at the hips, and according to the most recent studies, using a variety of techniques, maximum body masses have been estimated approximately 8.4 metric tons (9.3 short tons).

A seldom seen species, and one of the very last dromaeosaurids, surviving to the very end of the Mesozoic era about 66 million years ago.
Dromaeosaurs are feathered carnivorous theropods, popularly referred to as raptors, that thrived during the Cretaceous period. This tooth comes from the Hell Creek Formation, Harding County, South Dakota, and is a nice example of a lateral maxillary or dentary (upper or lower jaw) tooth with some visible denticles along the distal (backward facing serrated edge) carina.
There is evidence of repair where the tip of the crown has been stabilized to correct a break that may have been occurred due to natural erosion prior to the collection of the tooth. This is not uncommon, where teeth have become naturally fragmented as they become exposed to the elements.
Rather than restore the tooth, it is offered here in its originally recovered state which is reflected in the price. This is still a very desirable tooth for any collector. The surface of the tooth has a high gloss, very dark patina.

Allosaurus was a carnivorous theropod that lived during the Jurassic period. This tooth comes from the Morrison Formation, Moffat County, NW Colorado.
This is a nice example of a lateral maxillary or dentary (upper or lower jaw) tooth with a well defined distal carina (backward facing serrated edge). The tooth has a high gloss, black patina and is offered, as found, in the sandstone matrix which has been stabilized along an existing crack.

Deltadromeus is a theropod dinosaur from North Africa that is known from a few inarticulate specimens and no skulls. This tooth has been attributed to Deltadromeus and represents a lateral maxillary or dentary (upper or lower jaw) tooth with well defined distal and mesial carinae (forward and backward facing serrated edges) that exhibit some natural wear.
The surface of the tooth has a high gloss, light brown striated patina. There is some wear to the apex of the crown that may be the result of natural toot wear.

Suchomimus is a spinosaurid dinosaur from the late Cretaceous of Africa that fits somewhere between Baryonyx and Spinosaurus in size. It had a crocodile-like skull suited to a semi-aquatic existance, feeding on fish as well as terrestrail prey.
