Vendor: Lagerstätte Land

SKU Number: SQ1764331

Eoredlichia intermedia trilobite with gut tract from the Early Cambrian, Eoredlichia Zone, Yu’ anshan Mbr., Heilinpu Formation, Haikou Village, Anning County, Yunnan Province, China.

This trilobite is about 5 - 10 million years older than those from the Burgess Shale. This species is one of the few for which antennae, legs and gills (together the so-called biramous appendages), and the alimentary tract are known. Eoredlichia is a very early trilobite first appearing towards the middle of the Lower Cambrian. The genal spines are exceptionally long and the headshield is about twice as wide as it is long.</p>
