A very large and complete claw of the giant ground sloth, Glossotherium chapadmalense from the Late Pliocene of Levy County, Florida.
There is no repair or restoration to the actual claw itself.
The adjoining bones are matched bones, meaning - they are not likely from the same animal but are the correct sized bones from other individuals. This configuration has been professionally prepared, with the bones likely joined internally. There does appear to have been some restoration or repair to the bones to affix them together.
This is an acceptable restoration and completely in keeping with preparing a beautiful piece for display.

Additional Information
Glossotherium (literally "tongue beast") was a genus of ground sloth. It was a heavily built animal with a length of about 4 meters (13 ft) snout to tail-tip, a weight estimated at 1,000 kg (2,200 lb), and could potentially assume a slight bipedal stance. Glossotherium belongs to the Mylodontidae family of extinct South American and North American ground sloths within the suborder Folivora of order Pilosa, living from around 23 million years ago (Mya) to 11,000 years ago.
Due to its size and strength, Glossotherium would have had few natural enemies apart from the South American short-faced bear Arctotherium and sabre-toothed cats such as Smilodon. It is believed to have died out in the Pleistocene (1.8 million to 12,000 years ago).
